Remote on-lot checks for floorplan finance
FunderConnect checks whether the vehicles on your floorplan are on the lot or off it, without anyone visiting the site. Vehicles at the dealership or one of its documented locations count as on the lot. The rest are sent to the dealer to explain before any physical audit.

Between visits, you rely on what the dealer reports. A vehicle that has been sold, moved or lent out can sit on your book until someone goes to look. And every audit means checking every vehicle, including the ones that were never in doubt.
How FunderConnect works
Checked remotely
We work with technology and communications partners to confirm whether each funded vehicle is on the lot or off it. Nobody has to visit the site.
Matched to the dealer’s locations
Each vehicle is checked against the dealership and its documented locations, such as compound yards, logistics parks and bodyshops. All of them count as on the lot. Auditor checks help build that list: where a dealer’s funded vehicles are actually found shows which sites it really uses. If a vehicle is where it should be, nothing more is needed.
Exceptions go to the dealer
Vehicles that don’t respond, or that are off the lot, are sent to the dealer automatically through the CheckVentory platform, before any physical audit.
With our first customer, more than 94% of funded vehicles report in within any rolling 30-day period. Vehicles that don’t report are read against your Auditor checks, so a car parked in storage isn’t treated like one that’s missing.
What changes for your team
- Audit effort goes on the exceptions. Only the vehicles that can’t be confirmed need someone to act. How far you scale back routine visits is your call.
- You see problems sooner. A vehicle that goes off the lot shows up as an exception, instead of waiting for the next site visit.

One job, done every day. FunderConnect tells you whether each vehicle on your floorplan is at the dealership or away from it, and whether it’s parked or being driven. Your rules add the context: a demo out on the road is fine if it comes back, and a new car being driven that isn’t a demo is flagged as likely sold.
Rules that understand the vehicle
Context turns a simple signal into a decision
FunderConnect reads every vehicle against your own floorplan data, so it knows whether it’s new, used or a demo. Your rules then decide what counts as an exception.
Demo off the lot
Expected. It’s flagged only if it hasn’t been back on the lot within the period your rules set.
Brand-new car in active use
Flagged straight away. It isn’t registered as a demo, so it’s most likely sold.
Not reporting
Read against your Auditor checks. Silent but counted on the lot usually means it’s parked in storage. Silent and not found at a check is escalated straight away.
Off the lot
Flagged when it has been away from the dealership and its documented locations for longer than your rules allow.
A daily heartbeat
Each funded vehicle is checked once a day by default: is it active, has it moved, and is it on the lot or off it.
Your data stays in your region
Only vehicles on floorplan finance are checked. EU data stays in the EU, North American data in North America. Privacy and security
